Lakme Absoule Argan Oil Serum Foundation with SPF45 in 05 Honey Dew: Review, Swatch and MOTD

Hello Everyone,
Now days Argan oil is in every beauty products like shampoos, creams
and even in foundations. Why not! Argan oil is loaded with many nutrients,
Vitamins, Minerals and Antioxidants which has many beauty benefits and help to
hydrate and soften hair, face, body and nails. Couple of days back I have share
a review on Moroccan Argan Oil shampoo and today I will be sharing a review on
Argan oil based Foundation which is Lakme Absoule Argan Oil Serum Foundation. This is in the shade 05 Honey Dew which is a tone darker than my skin tone but I don’t mind of wearing it at all. I bought this foundation a couple of week back and was
wearing it non-stop during Durgapuja. I tell you, everyone complimented on my
skin. So let’s move down to know the nitty gritty details of this foundation.

INR: 750/- for 15ml.

Packaging:  I just
adore the packaging. It looks so luxe and stunning. It comes in attractive golden
plastic bottle with a dropper cap on the top which is really stand out. The bottle
is encased in a black cardboard box which carries all the information about the
product. But there is nothing mentioned about the ingredients. Strange!  The dropper is nice in quality and dispenses
the right amount of product at a time.

Shade:
05 Honey Dew: Lakme has launched 5 more shades in this range.
My shade- Honey Dew is suitable for Wheatish complexion as it has strong yellow undertone. (This shade is a tone darker than my skintone)

My View

The texture of the foundation is just awesome. Formula is
light-weight, more like of serum with runny consistency. It seems like you apply
a thick serum on your face. It has an amazing formula. It takes hardly any
effort to blend. I just take two pumps of this foundation and use my finger to blend it over my face. The result it gives is seamless. It blends in a jiffy. It gives a sheer to medium
coverage
. When I used a wet beauty sponge to blend the foundation, it gave bit
sheer coverage as it sucked up the most of the product for its liquid-y texture.
So I would suggest you to use your finger to dab the foundation onto your skin.
It will give you bit nice coverage. Though the coverage is medium to light, it
is able to cover up minor imperfections, dark spots and redness around my face.
You can always build up the opacity by layering the products.
It gives a nice
sanity or dewy finish to my oily to combination skin. It imparts a healthy glow
to my skin which I love. It feels light weight and comfortable on the skin and
doesn’t feel stretchy or dry over time. It has a decent staying power of about
4-5 hours when using a setting power.
It has similar kind of sweet fragrance that most of the
Lakme products have. This foundation has SPF 45 which makes it perfect for
daytime wear. The thing I don’t like is that it transfers quite easily to cell
phone and tissues and also creases a bit on areas around eyes and mouth which
doesn’t look appealing at all. Rather than that it doesn’t look cakey or patchy
overtime and fades away evenly.

My Rating: 4.5/5.
Where to Buy: You can buy it from Amazon and Nykaa.
Final Verdict: I really like the overall formula and
texture. It is a light-weight, medium
coverage foundation that gives a healthy glow to my skin and blends effortlessly
to a satiny finish. Its build-able formula covers up tiny winy imperfections and
redness around my face. With SPF45 it became my most desired daytime foundation
these days. Strongly recommend this foundation to all skin type beauties.
