are the talk of the town. Yes I’m talking about newly launched Lakme enrich satin
lip crayon. Like all other known brand Lakme has also introduce crayon form
lipsticks in their treasure but they keep the price tag in reach. So if you are
planning to buy some awesome colors without harm your pocket, then this post
will help you a lot. I have bought 2 crayons – cinnamon brown and blushing pink
last month and one i.e. shocking pink was gifted by hubby dear last week, so
today I’m happy to share my review on them.

My review on Lakme Enrich Lip Crayon in Cinnamon Brown, Blushing Pink and Shocking Pink:
Packaging: The crayons look exactly like color crayons ( at
least my 2.5 yrs old girl thought so), Small and sleek. Every information
related to the product is printed on the label. Though I feel that the plastic
is a bit flimsy but what I can ask more for such price tag. Crayons have color
coded body so you can easily find this from stack of lipsticks. Each lip crayon
come with its own dual sharpener so it saves your struggle for searching their
match.

Shade:
Cinnamon brown: A lovely medium brown color with slight
peach hue, perfect for daily wear. The shade definitely looks like a high end
one.

Blushing pink: Don’t go by its name, it is not a blush color
at all. Blushing pink is a beautiful burnt orange shade, looks very flattering
on most of the Indian skin tones.

Shocking pink: Again it’s not shocking at all rather than
very subtle, very wearable rose color. Very beautiful and feminine shade

Pigmentation: If you are fan of intensely pigmented
lipsticks then this are not your cup of tea. You have to swipes 4-5 times to
get an opaque result. Though it covers pigmented lips beautifully. For me this
are like lip tint which can be used on daily basis.

Texture and formula: Texture of this lip crayons are in
between creamy and waxy, that is not as creamy as it goes smoothly like butter
or not as waxy to dry your lips like
hell. These have comfortable to wear formula, do not dry up lips not even set
down to lip lines. Yes they transfer and bleed. For the crayon format you can easily draw the shape of lips and filled in.

Staying power and color payoff: Color stays on for 2-3 hours
without snaking or drinking. But once you have any food, snacks or drink, the
color complete fades away. They do not stain even. So you have to carry this
lip crayons and reapply accordingly.

Final verdict: I personally
overlook their cons for such pocket friendly price tag. Really I can’t complain
more in such price. These are very good option for gifting and collage goers.
Overall I like the color, formula and packaging. A big thumbs up from my side.
