The most requisite product for every mom is Wet Wipes. It is one of the versatile product that can be used for almost everything like from cleaning your baby, while changing a diaper, while feeding your baby, refreshing baby’s face, cleaning baby’s hand before eat or cleaning any mess. I use wet wipes for removing my makeup as well. A mom with small kids/babies around can’t think a diaper bag without cleansing wipes. Right! But did you ever think, this wet wipes that we use keenly for our kids, are made of what ingredients? Well, most of the wipes available in the Indian market is nothing but polyester and contains many harsh chemicals which are harmful for baby’s tender skin. Don’t believe me! Just turn around the packaging and check the ingredient list. You may find polyester, paraben, sulphate. Chorine and even bleach too. Do you still think these wipes are safe to use for babies? Certainly NOT. Then which one to choose? My answer is Mamaearth organic bamboo based baby wipes. Let’s find out why!

Packaging: Mamaearth organic bamboo based wipes come in a pale blue and green plastic packaging with cute cartoon printed on both side. Must say the packaging is so adorable itself. It carries all information related to the wipes. The packaging comes with an extra protective cover over hygiene seal which prevents dry out and keeps the wipes wetter longer. Hence travel-friendly.
My View
The first thing I checked when I got this wipes was its ingredients list and I found some hydrating and skin-friendly ingredients like shea butter, aloe vera, vitamin E, almond oil which gently nourish baby’s skin while cleansing. I was amazed to see the wipes are made of organic bamboo cloth which doesn’t cause rashes. Then just for curiosity’s sake, I opened up the packaging to check out whether the brand’s claims are true or not. As soon as I opened the lid and took out a wipe, I was just overwhelmed by its soothing and citrusy fragrance which felt very refreshing. The first thing that I noticed was the wipe felt just like cotton and way too softer and thicker than the existing ones. The surface felt very smooth to touch and it is large enough to clean face and hand in one go.
Now coming to the cleaning part, the wipes effortlessly clean always dirt, grime, and soil from baby’s skin. It doesn’t irritate or dry out the skin post use rather than keep it fresh, hydrated and smelling good. I also use it to remove makeups. It takes off foundation, liner, kajal, and lipstick without sting my eyes or irritates my cheeks. I love the fact that it doesn’t leave my face dry rather sets a sheer layer of moisture on my skin.

Final verdict: Overall all Mamaearth organic bamboo based wipes are extremely good in terms of quality. It feels soft and smooth just like cotton cloths and is infused with some hydrating ingredients like aloe vera, shea butter, and almond oil which gentle and safe for baby’s delicate skin. I would highly recommend this wet wipes to all.
