With this motive, they started the work to launch the first web series and for that, the unanimous decision was the launch of Byomkesh series. Nothing much needs to be said about the series as its name itself speaks volume.
Byomkesh Bakshi written produced by Saradindu Bandyopadhyay is definitely the best fiction Bengali detective. The whole fiction of Byomkesh has been adopted 18 times on screen and the character has been played by best of the actors. Thus it would not be an exaggeration to say that the novel has all the capability to attract the audience. This is what they wanted but at the same time playing the same novel in a different way.
But they obligate it to the audience and to keep up the good work that they are known for producing the Nation award winner Chokher Bali, Raincoat, Memories in March, ApurPanchali, ChotoderChobi and ChanderPahar. It was an immense pressure to reincarnate the similar standard of work. Yet with the tremendously talented cast that is Anirban Bhattacharya, Subrat Dutta and Ridhima and the whole crew a world class detective web series was launched.
The first episode out of 12 from the online web series has gone on air. The launch party was at The Park and what the talk of the town. To celebrate the success of the launch elite and eminent people from the city and film industry were there. The launch of the second episode has been made and it has the audience by storm.
