Sugar It’s A-Pout Time! Vivid Lipstick in 10 True Oxblood: Review and Swatch

Hello everyone,
Sugar has recently adds some new shades to their immensely raved
Matte as Hell crayon and it’s a pout time vivid lipstick and for dear Fabbag
we are able to try these newly launched shades as fabbag include this shades on
this month’s bag (check out my unboxing here). I got Sugar It’s A-Pout Time! Vivid Lipstick in shade 10 True Oxblood. But as soon as I open my Fabbag, I was
a bit upset over the lipstick as I expect
a lip crayon in nude shade. Soon I realize that I’m in lack of such
super sultry shades and my vanity is filled with only nudes and pinks. This
makes me super happy again. So let’s find out how classy that shade is.

INR: 599/- for 3.5gm.

Packaging:  It
comes in very stylist rectangular shaped matte black case with twisted up
bullet packaging. The brand name ‘Sugar’ is mentioned on one side and other
information like range name and shade name are mentioned on other side. It also
comes with very classy looking paper cover which carries all the information as
well. I found that the bullet is slim and sleek than the regular lipstick’s
bullet.

Shade: It is deep burgundy with plum undertone, gorgeous,
classy and sultry. If you think that the shade is a vamp-y one then I would say
that “not at all”.

My view

Texture is quite creamy; it glides smoothly without tugging
and pulling. It has nondrying formula which hydrates the lips a bit. It doesn’t
settle down to lip lines or emphasizes dry patches of the lips. The formula is
not flat powdery matte rather it is light weight and very much comfortable to
wear. It doesn’t have any shimmer either. After some minute or so of
application it sets completely matte finish.
It is decently pigmented. Two swipes are enough to appear
the color to the fullest. It gives opaque coverage to my pigmented lips.
It stays for good 6+ hours on me with a little fading from
the center. It doesn’t bleed or move around much in between but after heavy
meal and few sips it completely disappears leave a light stain behind which
looks so natural on my lips.

My rating: 4/5.
Where to buy: You can buy it from Sugar Cosmetics and Nykaa

Final verdict: If you are someone who is a bit shy to carry bold
or dark lips then the shade is only for you. It doesn’t make you look vampy or gothic
rather than it wakes up the complexion. Totally in love with the shade. Highly
recommend to all.
