Inveda D Tan Scrub: Review

by - July 12, 2017

Hello Everyone,
We try plenty of home remedies to remove those stubborn tans from skin.  But to be honest, being a mommy I hardly get time to spend on home remedies and all, so a readymade d-tan pack or scrub would work best for me. I got Inveda D-Tan Scrub in my April Glam-Ego box and since then I have been using it for twice a week. So today I’m here with my experience on Inveda D-Tan Scrub.

Review of Inveda D Tan Scrub

INR: Rs. 180/- for 50ml.

Packaging: The D-Tan scrub comes in an opaque brown plastic tub with golden screw up lid. The lid has pretty design which gives an Indian touch to the packaging. Necessary detail like ingredient list, price, and expiry date is mention on the tub. There is an extra inner lid as well which makes it leak-proof and sturdy.

My view

The product is white in color and has silky soft texture. The consistency is similar to any cream based scrub. It has gritty particles mix in it. The scrub has very minty fresh smell. It is creamy, so it spreads easily on the skin; it gives a cooling sensation upon application which feels very relaxing. It washes off easily unlike any other cream based scrub.
It contains Vitamin E, Anti-Oxidants and essential oils, peppermint oil, clove oil, lemon peel, camphor oil and eucalyptus oil which is why it gives cooling sensation and relaxant the tired skin. It doesn’t have any paraben or harsh chemicals as well.
It works great on exfoliating, removing dead cells, blackheads and whiteheads. The scrubbing particles don’t feel harsh on the skin. It leaves my skin feel soft and supple after every use. I generally took finger full amount, applied on my wet face, gave a gentle massage for 3-4 minutes then rinsed off. It instantly brightened my skin, making it soft and refreshed. But on D-tanning department, do not expect miracle out of it. Yes, regular usage may be help in removing light tan. I have felt noticeable difference on my skin after 3-4 use. But on heavy tanning, you have to be consistent with the product, I’m sure that it will show the result.

  7. I don't think any de-tanning product is a miracle.. if it somehow works quickly I start to wonder if it has harsh chemicals. But this scrub does sound quite good.

    1. Yes, Tub packaging is a bit unhygienic but a wooden spatula can save you tho.

    1. I have oily acne prone skin and it doesn't break me out at all. I think you are allergic towards any of the ingredient.
