Revlon PhotoReady BB cream Skin perfector with SFP30 : Review and Swatch

Hello Everyone,
Long back I have bought Revlon PhotoReady BB cream Skin
perfector
from Aplava.com and missed to post the review. So today I will be
sharing the review on this bb cream. BB cream is a must for me as I don’t wear
makeup on daily basis to work. A light coverage bb cream and a hint of blush
and lipstick and I’m ready to go. BB cream or Beauty Benefit cream not only
gives light to medium coverage but also moisturize the skin and gives sun
protection. You don’t need to apply any other moisturizer and sunscreen separately,
just a bb cream and you are sorted.  That’s why I prefer a bb cream over any light
coverage foundation or tinted moisturizer. So let’s start with the detailing of Revlon PhotoReady BB cream Skin Perfector with SFP 30.

Packaging: The bb cream comes in a pretty silver color tube
packaging with screw up cap. All the information related to the product is
mention on its body. It has very narrow opening nozzle which makes easily to
squeeze out small amount of product at a time without causing any mess. Packaging
is sturdy and easily slips into clutch or purse.

Shade and smell: Revlon photo bb cream available 3 shades
which is quite nice and from them I choose the shade medium which is warm tone
beige color. It has very light cosmetic smell which fades as soon as applying
on the skin. So doesn’t harm any sensitive nose.

Texture and formula: I don’t know why it has crumbly texture
when come out. Then after massaging on the face it thin out and became more
watery. It gives sheer coverage with velvety dewy finish to the skin which may give
a brighter look when take photograph with flash. So it is somewhat photo ready
– what the brand claims it to be. It glides on smoothly to the skin surface,
easily blends and doesn’t sit into the pores or fine lines. It doesn’t cover
blemishes, dark spot or redness. It doesn’t make you skin greasy or oily over
time as well. It also contains SPF 30 which gives a good sun protection.

Staying power: Hardly stays on my skin which is about 2-3
hours then fades away. If I applied a compact over this then it would stay
little more but at the end of the day nothing is left on my face. So you have
to watch out for that and reapply when needed.

Pros:

  • Light weight.
  • Gives sheer coverage.
  • Blends well.
  • Gives a velvety dewy finish.
  • Contains SPF 30.
  • Perfect for daily wear.
  • Doesn’t sit into pore, so doesn’t break me out.
  • Available in 3 shades.
  • May gives a brighter look in photograph.

Cons:

  • Poor staying power.
  • Doesn’t cover blemishes, light dark spot or redness.
  • Bit pricy according to the quality.

Rating: 3/5.

Final verdict: For me
it’s nothing but a tinted moisturizer which gives some short of sun protection.
Very disappointing and pricey according to it’s coverage and staying power. No, I
will not buy this in future. I would recommend this only one who doesn’t want any
coverage or want to try any good tinted moisturize with SFP. If anyone is
looking for a nice bb cream that gives medium coverage then I would suggest giving
it a miss.

What do you think about this BB cream? is it worth trying?
